Kylie’s group had another good drive this morning! She says:
“It was very chilly but we soon stopped feeling the cold when we started tracking a male lion! We tracked him along a road for some time, and while we were doing that we ran into a huge herd of buffalo! Had a quick look and carried on following the lion tracks. We eventually found him and spent a long time following him around through the bush! Was amazing! We then went back and spent some time with the buffalo. We also saw some zebra, waterbuck, kudu, a lilac breasted roller, fish eagle and a brown snake eagle! “

Hello!
Hielke had a rather slow start to his safari with sightings of bush buck, buffalo, elephant, 8 bateleur eagles sitting in a river bed, saddle billed stork and white fronted bee-eater! Will keep you posted on today’s sightings!
Still not a bad day out, but it just shows how lucky we usually are on our game drives. With the guides in the park daily, they usually find the animals very easily. But alas - there are no rules & definitely no guarantees. That is the beauty of the wild - it is so unpredictable! Every moment of every day is special with the sense of anticipation ever present.

Kylie’s Kurger & Sabi Sands Combo Safari continued with a great time at Nkorho! They started off with a quieter night drive, seeing impala, scrub hares, waterbuck and wildebeest but it was just the calm before the storm as it picked up tremendously on Friday morning!
After a nice wake up coffee they set out and where greeted immediately by George, the resident blue wildebeest. This was then followed by a mother and baby white rhino who were extremely curious of them and gave them a nice show, as well as a lot of zebra, some more wildebeest, giraffe, waterbuck and kudu!

Hello everyone!
Kylie has had a spectacular trip with her guests in the Sabi Sands Game reserve!
They’ve seen lots of lions, ellies, spent half an hour with a male leopard during sundowners, huge herds of buffalo, black backed jackal, honey badger, lots of vultures, African wild cat, kudu, impala, warthog, waterbuck, giraffe, monkeys and baboons!
They are still hoping to find a rhino though. What great sightings!
