Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

Hello from a cold & wet Johannesburg!

Luckily the climate in the Kruger Park is much nicer & Hielke and his client have had good sightings! Some of what they saw include: various lion sightings, elephant close up, white rhino, buffalo, fish eagle, dwarf mongoose, giraffe and zebra.

Yesterday Hielke’s group saw 9 white rhino, giraffe, warthog (always a favorite!), duiker & hyena. After a lovely breakfast at Afsaal, they found a big herd of elephant, more giraffe and 3 white rhino lying in the road!
