Back in the bush and its treating Kylie fantastically! She says:
“We have had an AMAZING 3 days! We have seen the Big 5 and so much more everyday. 3 Leopard sightings- spending 20 min with a big male who walked right past our car, a young female who was just lounging in a Marula tree right next to the road and today we had a male also sleeping in a tree not far off the road. Countless lion sightings including 3 big males, a mating pair, 15 lions on a buffalo kill, 4 lionesses also on a buffalo kill, and 3 lionesses with a 3 month old cub. Also having wonderful sightings of elephants and rhino with young ones and lots of buffalo including a big herd of about 500+.

With the first real rain yet to fall in the Kruger Park, our client are still being treated to huge breeding herds of elephant, huge herds of buffalo and of course the predators that go with this!
The past week produced brilliant sightings of everything a safari guide and client could hope for! The list is too long to mention all, but here are some of the highlights:
Several lion sightings (one one drive they had 3 different sightings!)
Leopard in a tree, on the ground and on a kill!
Cheetah hunting

Hi!
After the bitter loss of the Springboks to the Wallabies this past weekend, we at least have some great sightings to sweeten us up a bit!
Willem is in the Kruger National Park at the moment and his guest have been treated to loads of brilliant sightings!
Amongst others, they found a pack of wild dog with 12 pups! It is always great to see these endangered animals.
They also treated to a pride of lions with a buffalo kill, a leopard on the causeway of the Sabie river and several huge herds of elephant and buffalo.

Hielke started yet another Kruger Park Safari! He says:
“We had a great first day in the Kruger Park. We set off on the afternoon drive and just outside the gate we found some elephants. One large female crossed the road right in front of us and showed us just how big she really is! Soon after we were lucky enough to take the right loop where a male lion was lying, sleeping peacefully. Closer to the end of the drive we had another herd of elephants crossing the road and was nice to see how the herd protects the babies by keeping them between them!”
