Hello!

Hielke & his guests started off with a night in Letaba. The next day they had a great drive to Skukuza via Olifants camp. They also stopped at the southern most baobab tree! Their sightings included kori bustard, black backed jackal, hyena, buffalo, elefant and lots of plains game, including zebra & giraffe!

With both Hielke and Kylie in the Kruger Park, sightings have been great as usual!

Hielke’s group has seen lion, elephant, 2 cheetahs, hippo, crocodile, an otter! and ground hornbill.

Kylie’s guests found zebra, impala, several male giraffe, bull elephant, a breeding herd of elephant, a bateleur eagle eating a frog, a tawny eagle fighting with a branch (probably to add to his nest!), wildebeest and hippo!

Leonard is on our Annual Charity Safari, camping in Balule camp in Kruger National Park! They had a great time in the Park, a first for all of the children. They saw loads of animals and learnt a lot about nature. Who knows, maybe this will be our next generation of guides?

Mike’s safari started off well with sightings of giraffe, impala, kudu, hyena with pups, steenbok, elephant, lots of white rhino and hippo.

On Friday morning’s drive, they found cape clawless otter, impala, bushbuck, waterbuck, kudu, wildebeest, zebra, steenbok, klipspringer, vervet monkey, baboon, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, bateleur eagle, african hawk eagle, african fish eagle, tawny eagle, saddle billed stork, woolly necked stork, hooded vulture, white backed vulture, slender mongoose, crocodile & ostrich!

Maybe we will have new birding enthusiasts after this one?

Hielke’s group had better luck this time around with brilliant sightings of leopard, white rhino, dwarf mongoose, slender mongoose, burchells coucal, ground hornbill, big male kudus, and a herd of elephant with the cutest baby!
